Michelle Obama on the Arts

Although I am living in Canada and many of my readers are, I thought this was a great article on first lady Michelle Obama’s recent visit to New York - The New York Times - In New York, Mrs. Obama Praises Arts as Vital to U.S.

The arts are always a constant budget issue in our Canadian government and areas in the arts are consistently on the chopping block. Here’s hoping our Canadian government will take notice and listen to the first lady of the United States!
